Childhood is the most formative and therefore most strategically important stage of life. Children urgently need our attention. Bangkok International Christian Nursery (BICN) believes that children are our greatest priority work in the coming decade.

BICN has two programs: a nursery program for 2-3 year-olds and a kindergarten program (K1 – K3) for 3-5 year-olds. Both programs are strongly influenced by a creative curriculum for preschool approach. The curriculum emphasizes learning through a wide range of instructional strategies -- from child-initiated learning to teacher directed learning, all designed to best respond to children’s strengths and interests.

BICN maintains a student-teacher ratio of 3:1 in nursery and 10:1 in kindergarten. BICN has spacious classrooms and a grassy playground for children to play. With its home-like atmosphere, natural surroundings and Christian caring staff, BICN is the second home all parents wish they could have for their kids.

The classes for nursery and kindergarten are held in a separate building. The nursery has all-day classes for 3 years old students (8.00 am – 14.30 pm).  It was designed to help children adjust themselves to the school environment, linguistic ability appropriate to their age.In Kindergarten students will acquire pre-reading and pre-math skills and concepts. According to their linguistic ability and readiness, some students may be grouped to begin reading at this level. Promotion to Kindergarten and first grade will be based on the acquisition of the necessary skills and linguistic foundation for success at the next level.
